The Rising Fishery

The Rising Fishery a family owned fishery based close to the village of Higham in East Lancashire offers course fishing over 3 ponds surrounded by stunning country side.

The three fishing waters are as follows

• The Hallows – The largest of the three waters with the following fish stocked.  Carp (up to 25lb), Tench, Golden Tench, Roach (up to 3lb), Golden Orfe, Specimen Perch (up to 4lb), Ide, Rudd, Chub, Barbel.
• The Broomstick – a canal shaped water stocked with Roach, Perch, Tench, Carp (mirror, Common,  & Crucian), Golden Orfe.
• The Cauldron – the specimen lake and also the smallest, stocked with large Carp (up to 30lb) and specimen Bream. Other species include Barbel, Chub, Roach, Tench, and Golden Orfe.

With an onsite cafe offering hot & cold food throughout the day you are sure to be catered for .

In addition The Rising Fishery has a well stocked tackle shop which is unusual but a great addition for extra bait and bit and bobs.

The fishery has ample parking close to the ponds making it ideal for the disabled angler.
